The pub has a large space for both indoor and outdoor dining. Many customers like to sit outside in the large pub garden. The challenge for this pub was that when staff took orders for outdoor dining customers, they had to walk a long distance to take their order and then back into the pub to process their order on a fixed till.
With only one fixed till and two card machines, employees would have to fight for customer payments and wait at the till before being able to process customer orders. Many customers were becoming irritated and bored while waiting for their orders to be taken or processed.
Customers were not being served quickly enough, and employees were becoming exhausted from running back and forth to take simple orders.

This meant employees could take orders, take payments and process orders to the kitchen in just our powerful terminals. Customers were served quickly and more efficiently. We were able to reduce manual processes and streamline their order and payment process.
The Waterman Arms continues to use the handled terminals to serve customers at the bar. They are going to be using our e-commerce platform Go-Eat to offer delivery and collection for their pizzas.
